When did you start Taekwondo?
I started taekwondo when I was 9 years old. I got my first black belt when I was 14 years old.
I started taekwondo because my cousin (who is also a Premier TKD instructor) started taekwondo and I wanted to train with him.
What do you most enjoy about Taekwondo?
My favourite part about taekwondo is Sparring. The students at the club make teaching very fun and enjoyable, of course, it is challenging at some points, but seeing them progress and achieving their dreams is the best part of my job.
Tell us about your success and achievements:
I have achieved my fourth Dan and have also made many good friends. There are so many good experiences, I couldn’t begin to try and fit them on here. I have competed in many competitions and have achieved many gold, silver and bronze national medals in Iran. In Iran competitions are a lot more difficult in comparison to England.
My ambition is the success of our students at Premier Taekwondo and I hope they all get the chance to represent GB, because I believe they are capable.
