About the Club

Delivering Strong Technique whilst encouraging pupils to challenge themselves

2021

Started September 2021

We are based in Almondbury Village and we teach foundation-level Taekwondo. The club runs by Master Nicky.

Hello and welcome to Premier Taekwondo Almondbury. We are a Premier Taekwondo associate club.

Classes are aimed at delivering strong technique, whilst encouraging pupils to challenge themselves physically and mentally, which, in turn, promotes self-confidence. Pupils work towards set goals and every 3 months, they are given the opportunity to attend a grading and qualify for their next belt. This teaches pupils to work hard to achieve their goals by learning self-discipline. All pupils are encouraged to work to the best of their ability and make progress towards whatever goal they have set for themselves.

No. Anyone can try taekwondo and everyone’s starting point is different. Classes are aimed at making progress from individual starting points. It’s not about being better than anybody else, but about being better than you were yesterday. Your fitness level will inevitably improve as your time practising taekwondo extends.
